Samir Makes A Comeback, LoudUp & ShakeMe Emerges

image

Oh yea, things are sure heating up in the accelerometer business! Earlier this year we saw Tong Ren beating Samir to his idea of ShutUp, and Damian who has released a number of fun (but quite pointless) accelerometer applications such as pyPiwo, pyRybka, pyPoziomica as well as pyMoneta. Well, Samir was the one who started developing accelerometer applications from the very beginning so it is only natural that he would like to keep that lead.

Today two more names pop up on Samir's website, shrouded in mystery. No confirmed details on either of the applications yet, but ShakeMe might introduce the functionality of changing sound tracks by shaking the phone, much like what the newSony Ericsson W910 phones does; while LoudUp is said to be an autospeaker that will allow direct answering of phone calls through the loudspeaker. Truely useful when driving or for those who are hearing-impaired.

So here's some food for thought, is Samir really working on TWO new applications when he hasn't even perfected/completed either one of his previous prejects? ... or is this just more of drawing the crowd and attention to himself and to "reserve" some of cool names for his future applications?

...only time will tell.... Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on this one.
